This was a complex project over 2 phases in a very challenging situation, being right on the crossroads in Hampton Hill High Street!
Phase 1 was to provide the first three of the seven apartments.
This entailed ripping out the existing first floor to create two new, luxury flats but the third of the flats was much more complicated.

The left hand side of the existing property had a rather shallow cellar. We dug down and under-pinned the building to extend this space into a split-level flat with living space and kitchen on the ground floor, with a staircase leading to a bedroom and bathroom in the basement.
This phase also included the extension of the existing building to the side elevation to create the new communal entrance and the stairwell that would be the access for the four apartments in phase 2.

Whilst the first phase had been conversion work, the second was the new construction of a three storey, steel framed building, tied into the existing property.
This was finished externally to be entirely in keeping with the original building with the flats fitted out to be high spec, contemporary living spaces in a highly sought after area.
